Key Responsibilities
What you will own and deliver in this IT Project Manager role
Programme Governance
Define and maintain project charters, RAID logs, and governance frameworks across all active technology workstreams.
Stakeholder Management
Build and sustain productive relationships with C-suite sponsors, technical leads, and third-party vendors across the programme lifecycle.
Delivery Methodology
Apply Agile, PRINCE2, or hybrid delivery methodologies — adapting approach to programme scale and organisational context.
Budget Control
Manage programme budgets of £500K–£2.5M, providing accurate forecasting, variance reporting, and financial control at board level.
Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks. Escalate unresolved issues with clear mitigation plans to executive sponsors.
Digital Transformation
Lead cloud migration, ERP implementation, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications and experience required to be considered for this IT Project Manager vacancy
Minimum 5 years' IT project or programme management experience
PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent (PMP, MSP, AgilePM)
Proven delivery of complex, multi-workstream technology projects
Strong commercial acumen with budget management experience
Agile/Scrum experience — SAFe or Scrum Master certification desirable
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and board-level communication skills
Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) advantageous
